Epipedobates tricolor 'Santa Isabel' Dart Frogs - one of the boldest and easiest of the two species, popular due to its bright red coloration. Females get up to 1", males are smaller. Eating springtails, fruit flies, dwarf isopods and pinhead crickets.
This lovely form from French Guyana is one of the smallest morphs of Dendrobates tinctorius. Its adult size is similar to your average Dendrobates auratus.
It is a fairly bold and primarily terrestrial species native to Amazonian Ecuador. Males call frequently throughout the day. This is still an uncommon species in the hobby. *Photos from the breeders.
