This is another easily grown epiphytic fern from Ecuador. Thin rhizomes will spread out often creating a dense mat of fern. Sold as generous clumps with multiple growth points present. This species, when grown slightly drier, will grow more compactly.
A creeping vine with slow and compact growth forming a carpet of 1-2cm leaves. An alternative to Ficus pumilia as a background cover due to its less invasive and aggressive growth. Sold as generous portions of multiple growth tip cuttings.
When grown in a more arid enclosure the leaves take on a more angular appearance, when grown in more typical terrarium conditions the leaves are oblong or circular (as seen here). Sold as cuttings, each portion containing two or three growth tip portions
