Important information about this pet!
Axolotls are a cute and popular idea of a pet. We want to ensure they go to the best possible aquariums to avoid any injuries or early deaths. Axolotls are often purchased and mistreated by well-meaning parents for their children however we will not sell any to unprepared homes.
- We typically get in 3-4" sized individuals
- Actual colour and features may differ than pictured
- They are eating blood worms, red wigglers and cut up nightcrawlers
- Aquarium temperatures should never get above 16 degrees Celsius. A cooler must be used in the summer if you do not have air conditioning
- They should not be housed with fish to prevent damage to their gills
- They will require at least a 40 gallon long aquarium as adults
